Who We Are
In 1995 First Conservatory of La Grange began as an outreach program of the Music Department of First Congregational Church. We pride ourselves on being able to take a student as far as they can go, creating life-long learners. First Conservatory teachers are active performers, making them life-long learners as well. This passion for teaching and perfomance makes for an inspiring combination for students of all ability levels.
Our Facilities
Located in the historic First Congregational Church of La Grange, First Conservatory has 10 teaching studios and 4 recital spaces ranging from the 50 seat, vaulted-ceiling choir room to the beautiful 300 seat sanctuary with a restored, antique Bechstein 7' grand piano.
